I'm glad to see more books that present a balanced look at this beautiful, threatened creatures. It's always good to be reminded that the natural world is connected, from the bottom right up to the top of the food chain! We loved seeing this avid fisherman pull fish from the sea. He took a kayak far out to pull his line out, then returned to pull it back in, and caught some amazing fish, and one morning, a small shark! He did throw it back after carefully removing the hook. It was a bit scary to get back in the water, but we did, have not seen any sharks near. This would have been a great book to have had that day, Michele.Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059745967759944669.post-22120358353523346032016-06-29T06:08:49.434-07:002016-06-29T06:08:49.434-07:00I just read Slicker Quick with its poems about man...I just read Slicker Quick with its poems about many kinds of sharks.
