Nonfiction Picture Book Wednesday 2017 nonfiction picture books 12.28.16

Every Wednesday I join Alyson Beecher from kidlitfrenzy and other
kidlit bloggers to share wonderful nonfiction picture books.
The intention of today's blog is to give educational professionals
new nonfiction reading material and ideas to use
with students to promote a love of reading nonfiction materials.

Hard to believe that we're looking at the start of a new year!
I don't know about you, but I'm ready for 2017!
Especially for the books.
This week I'll be spotlighting books to come.
I have pages written in my notebook for each month.
Pulling out just a few over the next few days.
Lots more to come in 2017!

Today, nonfiction picture book fun!

  1. I was lucky enough to see an early version of Fairy Floss, and it's great! Can't wait for everyone else to see it, too!

  3. Thank you so much for featuring my book, FAIRY FLOSS: THE SWEET STORY OF COTTON CANDY. It was a joy to work with Sonali Fry on this project and to learn more about the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis and the Electric Candy Making Machine.
