Her Brown Girl Dreaming has been receiving a lot of booklove recently among book bloggers - so that one is definitely a must-read too. I have a collection of alphabet books - some snarkier than others, to use your term. And A is for Musk Ox sounds like it needs to be part of that collection. Have a great reading week!GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059745967759944669.post-3686743304680485662014-08-25T19:13:53.143-07:002014-08-25T19:13:53.143-07:00So happy that this is your week for The Summer of ...So happy that this is your week for The Summer of Letting Go. I'll have to wait to get a copy of Brown Girl Dreaming from the library-- I couldn't get an ARC. Dash was okay, but I was hoping for a new twist on the historical topic. I didn't love it then, but I have a feeling I'd appreciate it in a totally different way now that I'm a much better and more experienced reader of young people's lit. I just broke down and ordered A is For Musk Ox. Z Is for Moose is one of my favorites, and when you said A Is For Musk Ox is even snarkier, I knew I had to have it!Elisabeth Ellingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00747914394861199796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7059745967759944669.post-35255623056438063592014-08-25T07:47:12.917-07:002014-08-25T07:47:12.917-07:00I have Feathers, should now read it before Brown G...I have Feathers, should now read it before Brown Girl Dreaming! And I also have Wild About Bears-looked too good not to own, & now your review makes me happy about it, Michele! Still need to read Dash. As you said, so many good ones to read (and to love!).
