Last year I posted a "Favorites" post three times throughout the year. It was a fun way to look at the books that were published that year. It's something I hope to do annually.
Looking at my 2021 reading, I can see I am behind where I usually would be at this point. Even though it's no 2020, this year hasn't been a walk in the park either. I have found many things to distract me and tear me away from reading time. Sometimes I have had trouble falling into a book, whether it's a picture book or chapter book or novel! But I keep on trying and we'll see where the year will take me!

I 'finally' got Watercress from the library, haven't read yet, but I'm excited about it. I marked some of your books that I haven't read. I loved many on your list, Michele, like Bear Island! Among a few others, I guess I would add Schmidt's Just Like That. I loved it, too! Happy Mother's Day!
