I know many of you have Morning Meetings, or spend time sharing books about kindness, empathy, and life skills. This would be a perfect book to add to the collection:

- talk about what happened
- quick write - what would you do?
- debate yes he should give the money back, no he gets to keep it
- talk about empathy - Rueben's family clearly does not have a lot of money, how do you know? What is that like for his family?
- discuss the theme, can they think of a time when they had to do the right thing even though it's hard?
