Nonfiction Picture Book Wednesday 9.30.15 Seedlings Series

#nfpb2015

I am excited to join Alyson Beecher and other friends in this weekly challenge.  Finding great nonfiction picture books isn't a challenge anymore, there are so many wonderful books to be read now!  The challenge is sharing them with as many people as possible so they can find this wealth of literature to share with our young readers.  Thanks to Aly for starting this weekly link-up and thanks to all who join in!  See all of the posts at kidlitfrenzy.

I found the Seedling series over a year ago!  I wrote about the Seedling animal series here.  Another Seedling series was just released.  It's another one that will appeal to young readers, particularly those that love books on FAST transportation!

Why I love this series:
  • amazing photographs
  • the charts at the back of the book
  • readability for beginning readers
  • engaging topics
  • has end notes with sources, an index and glossary
I highly recommend this series for young readers!

  2. These look fabulous, Michele. I'll send them on to the librarian. There is always more than one student who studies transportation & we always have need of n-f books for younger students. Thanks!
