I made big reading plans for 2015. I knew they were lofty back when I made them. Here's my original post.
As I said in the post, I was not going to be disappointed if I did not read every book on this list. I read a lot on this list, and I read a lot that were not on the list. I hope to get to every single book on this list at some point or another. I celebrate reading, not crossing off every book on a list.
I will join Carrie Gelson again for #mustreadin2016. I already have a plan in place. I'm going to try something new for the upcoming year. Come back on January 5th to see the new plan I have!

I am very intrigued to know about your plan! I will be watching! Of the books you haven't yet got to I would say a few need to have their time come one day . . . : How to Steal a Dog, Nest and The Raven Boys. So pleased you are joining in again in 2016!
ReplyDeleteI am always so amazed at the number of books both you and Carrie read. You read so many great ones this year and there are still so many more! I can't wait to see read about your plan...very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteI am eager to know about your new plan too! Move The Meaning of Maggie up on your new list!! Great job:)
ReplyDeleteI like the way you organized everything, Michele. There are a few on your list that I still want to read, too, like The Honest Truth and The Meaning of Maggie. I agree with Carrie about those not to miss. I did love The Nest, though it is quite creepy. And I've long loved The Raven Boys series. Just a lot of books available that I know will be good. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI loved your lists, Michele, and you read SO many of the books! You got to a bunch published in 2015 that I wanted to get to, but didn't-- onto the 2016 list they go! Books I really loved that you still may want to read were Liar & Spy (I love all of Rebecca Stead's stuff) and Under the Egg-- a great combination of history and mystery! I don't know if you do audiobooks, but I "read" The Mark of the Dragonfly and Ophelia and the Marvelous Boy both on audio, and they were excellently done! Like everyone else said, I'm excited to see your 2016 list! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reading so many from your list. I completed 40 of the 58 that were on my list. I like to think that this is 40 titles I might not have gotten around to. I can't wait to read about your plan for next year.
