The intention of today's blog post is to give professionals that work in the
education field new nonfiction reading material and ideas to use

Two weeks ago I wrote about the importance of including nonfiction in your read alouds. So what are some books you might want to include? Here are some of the books we're using as recent #classroombookaday selections. You'll notice there are biographies and expository nonfiction and narrative nonfiction selections. Most of these were published in 2019 but I also included some favorites. I'll include a second roundup later this fall!

I have read some of these older ones, loved Seashells & took it to the beach with me in the summer. And both about elephants are ones I hope many find to read! Thanks for those I don't know yet, Michele! It's not easy to keep up with all the wonderful new ones!
ReplyDeleteSo many great books here! I've read the majority of them. LOVE Magic Ramen, Skulls!, I, Fly, Wait, Rest, Pause, We Are Grateful, Stretch to the Sun. Titan and the Wild Boars was so gripping--had a hard time reading it because I am claustrophobic! So well done!
