Absolutely Alfie series by Sally Warner

This series is a bit longer than the other two from Penguin, but looks to be a fun, realistic fiction series, this one also featuring an African American family.

Isadora Moon Goes to School by Harriet Muncaster
publishes August 15th
I can't wait to see the finished book - it's supposed to have sparkles on it, which absolutely would have appealed to me as a young reader! This series features a young half fairy - half vampire!
I think our young readers have some great reads ahead of them!
