Nonfiction Picture Book Wednesday 9.30.15 Seedlings Series

I am excited to join Alyson Beecher and other friends in this weekly challenge.  Finding great nonfiction picture books isn't a challenge anymore, there are so many wonderful books to be read now!  The challenge is sharing them with as many people as possible so they can find this wealth of literature to share with our young readers.  Thanks to Aly for starting this weekly link-up and thanks to all who join in!  See all of the posts at kidlitfrenzy.

I found the Seedling series over a year ago!  I wrote about the Seedling animal series here.  Another Seedling series was just released.  It's another one that will appeal to young readers, particularly those that love books on FAST transportation!

Why I love this series:
  • amazing photographs
  • the charts at the back of the book
  • readability for beginning readers
  • engaging topics
  • has end notes with sources, an index and glossary
I highly recommend this series for young readers!

  1. Creative Publishing has several excellent series. I'm always amazed at the vibrant, engaging quality of their books.

  2. These look fabulous, Michele. I'll send them on to the librarian. There is always more than one student who studies transportation & we always have need of n-f books for younger students. Thanks!

  3. I enjoy these Creative Company books as well. I like how they have different series for different levels and they're covering a good wide range of subjects.

  4. These are awesome! Perfect for girls and boys who love things that go - I'm always looking for books that have engaging content that's also high quality. Thanks for sharing!

  5. These look great! I can't find these on Goodreads--could you tweet me the link? I'd like to mark these to read later with Trent :)

  6. Very nice! Thanks for sharing them. :)

  7. Yay! I have some of the other series and agree the Seedlings are great for young readers. I'll be looking for these. Thanks.
